Touted as "The Niagra of Pennsylvania" we ventured about 1 hour from the cabin to check out this natural wonder. It was (as still is) started by a family in 1904 and has been running ever since then. Here is a link: http://www.visitbushkillfalls.com/index.php It was pretty neat. They had a little store, you could visit a little diarama about the local flora and fauna and even pan for gold. It was pretty warm at the top of the falls but as we hiked down under the canopy it was pretty nice. There were LOTS of steps up and down!!!!! They had a nice little ice cream stand that ONLY TOOK CASH!!!! The boys were hot, sweaty and crabby and mommy had no cash.....not a good mixture. We got it all taken care of and were able to enjoy it in the shade. This was our last day at the cabin and it was a nice way to round it out.
