Petroglyphs

We took the kids to a local place where you could hike to see some Petroglyphs. It was very cool. We learned the rocks they were carved in is called "basalt" that was once a volcano. We all had clipboards that had several different pictures that we had to try to find on the rocks. We even learned what a metate is and how they were used.
